The new Uniform law entitled “Recognition of Substitute Decision-Making Act” can now be downloaded from www.reinsdorf.net under “Treaty and Laws”. This Uniform law governs the recognition of foreign power of attorney documents in states in which the law was enacted. The Uniform law has been enacted in Idaho and also introduced in Colorado and Connecticut.
